Thai-German couple
Naparuj “Mond” Kaendi and Thorsten Middelhof got hitched last October 31. The
lovers made quite a stir on social media when pictures of them holding hands in
a train became viral. Kaendi was cyberbullied for having such a good-looking mate
while his looks, according to his bashers, does not measure up to his
partner’s. Kaendi was a creative director for an agency Middelhof modeled for.
The Thai executive and the German model dated for two years before getting
married.
Interestingly, news of
their matrimony garnered positive reactions from netizens. Most of whom
supported the couple and admired the strength of their bond despite going
through undeserved criticism. The ceremony was held at The Gothic Aachen
Rathaus in Germany. Kaendi shared photos of the wedding on his Instagram
account @bemondce. Middelhof did the same on @tmid9.
Back in April, at the
time when their pictures invaded social media platforms, Kaendi responded to
his bashers with a strong statement. “Taking photos of people like that is no
different than filming under a woman’s skirt. It’s a violation of privacy. The
first caption I saw was ‘I’ll have to make my face ugly [to have a good-looking
man],” he said. Kaendi admitted that the negative attention he got from the
viral picture was so overwhelming that the incident left him worried and in
tears. Still, the lovebirds were able to stand against all odds and prove to
the rest of the world that love conquers all. Now that the couple cemented
their relationship even further, naysayers can take a step back and eat their
own words.
